Welcome CNA class 2018-2019!!!
A reminder that in addition to the Homework Help Center being open all periods daily, it is also open until 2:30 Monday-Thursday. This is an option for any student who needs help with their homework, or just a quiet place to do it.

A reminder that in addition to the Homework Help Center being open all periods daily, it is also open until 2:30 Monday-Thursday. This is an option for any student who needs help with their homework, or just a quiet place to do it.
For those students who will be attending clinical:
- Students will need a pair of scrubs:
- This year’s CNA uniform color will be Pewter. The cost of a one pocket
Cherokee scrub top is about $15. The scrub bottoms usually have a draw string waist and also cost $15. Most stores sell other styles with additional
pockets. Any style will be acceptable. The color, however, must be pewter
in the exact shade that Cherokee sells. Cherokee brand is sold at many
retailers and on-line. If you choose to not go with a Cherokee brand
please make sure the pewter color in your brand is the same as the Cherokee brand. It is also best to go to the store to try on your scrubs.
Scrubs should to loose fitting but not baggy. Tight uniforms are
unacceptable. Please try to have one scrub set for October 15. We are
hoping to visit the nursing homes in the Fall. Most students
do well to have 2 sets of scrubs to alternate between washings. - Students will need white shoes. They can be sneakers or nursing shoes. Lace shoes are preferred. No dress shoes or open shoes.
- Each student will need to have a PPD test
done prior to attending clinical. If a student has had the test in the
past 12 months, these results will be accepted. If a student has
had TB or been exposed, a certificate or note from doctor will be accepted.
